As one of the fourth generation of Fowlers at Modern, Fred’s son, West, loves the outdoors second only to his love for the family business, which he joined in 1993. That was a big year for West as he was also married that same year. He and his wife have 3 children. West was born and raised right here in Winston-Salem and attended Mount Tabor High School then went on to graduate from Appalachian State. West took such a liking to the Boone area that he was happy to take on the role of Dealer Principal for Modern’s two High Country dealerships; Modern Toyota of Boone and Modern Subaru of Boone.
Omnia followed his dad, Fred Fowler, into the car business and started working part-time in the Modern dealerships in 1985. He went full-time in 1991 after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Go Vols! Omnia is currently dealer principal of the Modern Toyota store in Winston-Salem.
Omnia and his wife Jennifer have four children, Ashton, Garrett, Eliza and Wyatt. When Omnia isn’t overseeing operations at our Toyota store, he and Jennifer spend much of their spare time watching the kids participate in all their various activities. He also likes to play golf, deep sea fishing and collecting old baseball memorabilia and has a sizable collection of baseball cards.
